This started as one small pixel and has continuously grown over the course of 3-4 weeks. is this a bad LCD screen that needs to be replaced or another issue?
The LCD has been damaged likely by something heavy being placed on the laptop . This will continue to grow and over time will kill the whole screen. This video shows how to replace the screen . They can be found on amazon or eBay Hope this helps
