Hi, So I was replacing the LCD glass on my iPad 4 (a1458) and at first the screen worked great (before putting on adhesive) I tested it a second time before putting the adhesive on it again, then only 1" or so towards the right side was working. Nothing else was responding. Home button and lock button working. Could it be a faulty LCD, I tried reconnecting the cables a couple times but still no luck. Please help, and thanks in advance!

It has nothing to do with the LCD. The LCD is only used to display an image. The digitizer is part of the glass and is for the touch screen functionality of the iPad. You probably have the digitizer ribbon cable being crushed between the metal housing frame of the iPad and the glass. You need to tuck the cable in a way that it doesn’t get crushed like that.
