Chosen Solution
Dear all, I just wanted to repair an iPhone 5s (didn’t charge properly) but I didn’t managed to open the device smoothly. So the cable of the home button disconnected at itself. After closing the device again I noticed that I doesn’t boot up. I opened it again and saw the the flex cable of the LCD also had been damaged (see photos). Now my question would be if I can repair this somehow of if I have to buy a LCD unit? Thanks for answering. Best wishes Nils Kober
You need to buy a new display unit. It is the economical way and in most cases the only way to fix this.
