Hi, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix a glitching lcd on an iPhone 6? Its not the touch disease glitching, its the colors looking like crazy pixels moving around. Happens with any lcd and I haven’t seen anyone with the same problem. Just wondering if anyone can suggest a certain chip to check out, seems like all data filters are fine and already tried changing the lcd connector. Thanks
It could be related to Chestnut (U1501) or the passives filtering the connector; the actual “image” is generated by the CPU. So check PP6V0_LCM_BOOST & PP5V7_LCM_AVDDH coming from Chestnut as well as the filters and Common Mode chokes on page 20 of the schematic.
