A1502 MacBook Pro 2013 Retina display. The backlight works however it seems that the LCD is disconnected or something because the screen always remains black. I am able to use the computer in safe mode with an external display. I have already done a factory reset of the computer. I have reset the PRAM and SMC. I did not drop the laptop and I’m pretty sure it was work and sitting on a table then I closed it and 15 ish minutes latter when I opened it up again it was not functioning. Is this for sure a hardware issue? Is there anything else I should try? How should I attempt to fix it? I am fairly capable of working with electronics. Another note, in system information the web cam does not show up under camera and iPhoto does not work

Remove the bottom cover, unplug the battery and reconnect the LCD cable. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, and it has no visible liquid damage, follow these next steps; Remove the lid assembly (follow guides on website)Remove the hinge cover by sliding it downwards (when lid is on a surface on its right side)Unscrew the PH000 screws holding wifi antenna inReconnect the backlight cable (smaller one) and LCD cable. This is a common fault with the A1502 2013-2014 model. If this doesn’t fix it, it will most likely need a new LCD cable, unless the board is liquid damaged.
