I have a late 2012 13" Macbook pro retina display with a damaged led. I also have an other late 2013 13" macbook pro with a damaged logic board. Now could i use the 2013" retina display assembly on the 2012 retina model? Would it work? If this works this would mean I would have a working system with parts from 2 different models. Please note both machines are 13" retina display models.

Yes they both use the same part number 661-7014 MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2012-Early 2013) Display Assembly

They should be compatible.
