I got a Late 2011 Macbook Pro from a friend and there are a lot of cosmetic issues with the chassis. The glass is cracked, the lcd has come loose from the top lid, and there are a lot of dents and scratches. I was wondering if it would be possible to move the logic board from this mac and place it in the chassis of a mid-2010? Thanks for any help
Unfortunately it’n not possible, a few cables and connectors on the logic board won’t match at all, you’ll have to find screen and topcase from 2011/2012.
