Laptop won’t get past the apple emblem boot stage / or just to white screen. I have reinstalled the O/S,no luck. I have booted in target disk mode and ran utilities, says no repairs needed, but no luck. If I boot and zap the PRAM I can get it to boot sometimes but then it will revert back. Boots from CD fine.
Sounds like a HDD issue. Try installing on an external drive and check if it runs from there.
