Laptop: hp power 15-cb060sa My laptop recently started having vertical lines on left hand side of screen covering about 20% of screen. These lines dissapear : After the laptop has been on for about 5 mins.After pressing on the bezzle near where the monitor cable is.After tilting the screen until they stop. I have reseated the monitor cable on motherboard. I was unable to reseat the connection from the cable to screen because it is seated directly onto pcb, not a connection plug.
@malter could be a cold solder (After the laptop has been on for about 5 mins ) situation or a bad cable. If those lines disappear with some pressure etc. I would suggest a quick resoldering of the wiring harness.
