Hi @bring_atharva, If a power refresh or reseating the RAM doesn’t work , then there is a motherboard problem that would have to found. Try to locate the motherboard schematics, by searching online for (insert motherboard’s “board number”) schematic, to hopefully find the schematics so that the motherboard’s power circuits can be tested
Disconnect power supply, take out battery and press power button for 15 seconds to discharge any power on the motherboard. Disassemble: HP 17-x061nr Disassembly Take out the coin shaped CMOS battery (bottom right in photo shown above) for about 30 seconds. Put back in clip. Reassemble laptop but do not reinsert main battery. Try turning on the laptop with just the charger plugged in. Does it boot up? If yes the charger is good. If no then the charger may be defective. If possible test with another charger of similar specifications. If good with charger unplug charger put battery back in. Turn it on. Does it boot up? If yes you are good to go. If no then the battery probably is defective.
You can just try to check out these solutions for a possible fixing: Check if the power switch wires are properly connected to the motherboard in the correct pins. They should be labeled.Remove the CPU and try starting up the computer. Most motherboards will give you an error. If you successfully see this error then you can assume that the CPU is causing problems. Some motherboards have a built in power and reset switch. If yours does, try using those instead. When you disconnect the 4 pins from the motherboard, if you have a dedicated graphics card then try to connect the video cable to your onboard graphics in an attempt to get something to display rather than the graphics card.
