My laptop does not turn on. Whether it is used with battery or with cord, the laptop does not start. Do you have any suggestion which laptop’s component does not work? Or maybe how to verify if the laptop receives electricity or not? Thanks!
Dan, try this first:
- Remove the battery and power supply.
- Hold the power button down for 30-45 seconds
- Release the power button
- Put the battery back in and plug in power supply
- Push the power button and it should power up. Let us know what happened. Hope this helps, good luck.
maybe the ic of power or other thing in mother board.
this is most likely a bios related issue disconnect the power cord remove your battery hold the power button down for 20 seconds remove the back panel and locate the coin-cell battery which should be in upper left hand corner remove the battery wait 15 seconds then reinsert the coin-cell battery connect your power cord press the power button rest your laptop settings log into your laptop check for bios and critical updates and install them restart your laptop NOTE: There may be multiple bios updates which need to be applied thus don’t be surprised if you need to repeat these steps a few times
