Chosen Solution
Customer plugged it into a 220V outlet and brought it into our shop. The screen comes on but is very faint, most likely a backlight issue. We hooked up a new macbook air screen and it had the same issue. Could it be the backlight fuse or the backlight circuitry itself? If it is the backlight fuse we can replace it as we have a solder tech. I hope the motherboard does not have any other issues considering she plugged it into that outlet. What do you guys think? Hi please Attempt to replace all components 1 by 1 near the. LCD to narrow down the fault and please also Replace the Backlight Fuse.
