I disassembled my ps4 controller to clean it, but when I reassembled both the L2 and R2 doesn’t work. I tried cleaning the contacts and the rubbers.
Sounds like you haven’t put it back together correctly. Rubber connectors not lining up properly. I’d open it up and try again.
