Knocks come in many shapes and sizes . it could be anything from a rod knock when under load to a knock made from not enough octane in the fuel . Could also be carbon build up in the cylinder head. Does the knock come at a regular time , for eg when your accelerating or under heavy load ,when you let of the throttle. does the knock come with a backfire at all. What conditions are you hearing the knock
