I have an Inspiron 1545, It has a kinked heat sink, but it still seems operational, and when i’m using Youtube , or at random times, the fan starts running a lot, is there a thermal conductor that I can use to put on my heat sink till I get enough money to replace it?

The system requires a heat sink to pull the heat away. There isn’t any options here if yours is damaged. Think it like this turning on the sink faucet the water needs to drain out in the basin. The heatsink heat pipe is like a tube which connects the two so when it fails the heat (water) can’t exit.
