PS4 less than 1 year old. Can’t find the receipt to take back for warranty. Basically used for Netflix and Hulu. Has no water damage or never been dropped. It has started kicking off automatically for. Now when I turn it on the blue light comes on it beeps and turns back off again. I heard it’s a hard drive failure. Is it? Or do I need to trash it?
This is a pretty common problem with these. It’s not he hard drive. It could be the power supply but it’s more likely that it’s faulty solder joints under the APU. Here’s my video explaining it more Hope this helps.
