Hey guys, my keyboard on my Macbook air is just crazy. It only works fine by holding down the option key. Only “, enter and erase is working fine without option key. And not enough…by pressing the keyboard, whether or not it is working, the trackpad only makes a doubleclick altough I just pressed with one finger. Thanks for helping and sry for the grammatics. Update (04/05/2016) Update. Removed the Backlight with no problem and damage. The keyboard has little dark spots where the connection cables between the keys are.
Have you tried using an external keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) ? Update (04/02/2016) It doesn’t take much to mess things up ;-{ I think you’ll need to get to your trackpad to clean the keyboard connection there. Follow this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Air 13” Mid 2013 Trackpad Replacement. Review Steps 6 & 7 I suspect you have corrosion on the connectors
