Hi! For the last month after carrying my Macbook Air in my backpack the Keys q to o are not functional. I have to repeatedly push them very hard and often until they work again. I suspect a bad contact somewhere, any ideas where? It’s just these Keys, “P” for example always works as intended. Will a Keyboard replacement solve this problem? Thanks for the Help. Greetings Hallo! Seit etwa einem Monat funktionieren die Tasten “Q” bis “O” nicht mehr nachdem ich das Macbook im Rucksack hatte. Ich muss oft und sehr fest alle Tasten betätigen bis diese wieder funktionieren. Ich vermute irgendwo einen Wackelkontakt, habt ihr Ideen wo das sein könnte? Es sind nur diese Tasten, “P” funktioniert zum Beispiel immer. Hilft ein Austauschen des Keyboards gegen dieses Problem? Danke für die Hilfe, Liebe Grüße
Yes, will most likely be a keyboard issue. Buy a new one (around 10$) and plug it in to test it first, since it can rarely be an issue caused by a liquid damaged keyboard connector, on the trackpad board. If it works fine, replace it. Search on Youtube “a1369 keyboard replacement” first though, there are rivets you will have to remove and replace with screws, so check to make sure you will be able to do the repair before ripping the old keyboard out :)
