Chosen Solution
I disassembled my Macbook to remove a stuck cd in the slot drive. Upon reassembly, the keyboard would not align properly on the right side (near power button, top of the bluetooth area). There is a slight bulge which I can’t seem to correct.
The optical drive is tricky to reseat. The edge closest to the screen sometimes feels like it’s seated but it’s not. Carefully reseat it a couple of times, looking to see how it goes down and you’ll probably discover it. It’s like a flash going off and you say OHHH that how it’s done. Sorry I can’t describe it any better but that’s the way I learned it.
