@roborachel - I promise CoconutBattery is not the issue. I think you have a cable failure! MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Trackpad Cable You could try reseating it or replace it.
Try holding down the Fn key and pressing the F1 key to see if the touchpad and touchpad buttons are re-enabled. Start the computer in Safe Mode and confirm if the keyboard and touchpad are functional. NOTE: If the keyboard and touchpad are functional in Safe Mode then this is likely a software issue.
