Keyboard and touch pad are not responding, I can only access my mac through external keyboard and mouse, I searched online and found out that I should replace the cable of the touch pad should I? This problem seems to bother many of early 2015 MacBook Retina
Yes replace the trackpad cable, easy to do and a common failure on 2015 13" models. When this fails, all keys on the keyboard except the power button will stop responding too, since the trackpad needs to be recognised for the keyboard to work.
