I had problems with my iPhone like little lines on the screen when I would turn it on the home screen and sometimes I was unable to even put my passcode or typing would be really hard. The screen was not responsive. I decided to open the phone perhaps the connection was weak or something because that is what I read online about vertical lines so when I reconnected and tested it before putting it back, everything was fine. It was responsive and no vertical lines. However, when I actually started using it was not any better. Also while I was putting it back I tried putting this one big screw in all 4 holes where you connect the LCD because I had to know where that screw came from. However, it did not fit in any of them so I just let it go. Since it was not responsive I was like I wonder if something is wrong with my phone or just the LCD so I put my iPhones 5s LCD and it kept rebooting and I also put back the original iPhone SE LCD and it also keeps rebooting. I tried putting the SE LCD on iPhone 5s and it appears that it is not working very well and not responsive. Also it appears that there is a red dot in a white circle on the inside of the LCD on middle right. I tried also putting the first 2 cables and not the cable to the right but it still rebooting.
@ianshalongo I’ve read in more than one of your answers this story about “Apple (who) decided to put a bigger processor than an iPhone 6s Plus inside of the body of an iPhone 5”. Don’t know where you got that info from but it’s wrong, 6S, 6Splus and the SE have exactly the same processor which is not even bigger than the A7 that was the heart of the 5S. Since you don’t seem having seen side by side a 5S and an SE I took the liberty to take a pic for your benefit, the SE logic board is the one on the right side, enjoy.
I work at a pair shop where we fix phones and when we have any iPhone SE’s come in, we always tell the customer that there is a 40% chance your phone might go crazy. This is because the iPhone SE came out after the iPhone 6, 6Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus. Apple decided to put a bigger processor than an iPhone 6s Plus inside of the body of an iPhone 5. What I would try is taking the battery out and replacing the battery and try a new iPhone SE screen. Not the 5s screen. Although they are compatible, it can make the phone flip out. If any of this doesn’t work, my only guess is that your iPhone has a logic board problem and its now going crazy. Best of luck.

A little bit of looking around never hurts. Its a lot more proof than just saying they’re the same chip with a picture of 2 logic boards. So hope you found these helpful, enjoy.
