my laptop starts and reboots and does not go to windows. shows a message. time and date not set when i go to bios, there is no location where i can reset the time and date naually. the computer has automatically gone to 2006 i use this PC with XP. since i have a HP printer which only woks with XP and no drives for 7 or 8. my priter is fast and out put is high. so i cannot discard this PC any help in this regard is welcome
Hi, Your RTC battery has probably gone flat and needs to be replaced. Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop.
