My JVC tv freeze after logo appears. Its stuck with a error screen. Anyone knows what to do? Is it possible to fix? best regards Update (02/01/2020)
Hi @gullbo, In the user manual it shows that the TV software can be updated using a USB, but doesn’t describe the procedure. It gives 4 contact links, which I tried but my browser couldn’t translate the pages where I ended up so I am none the wiser regarding this. Perhaps if there is a link to a language that you are familiar with you may be able to contact them about a software update via USB and if it is possible to do this given how your TV is operating. As I said before with some TVs the USB port is checked before the logo comes on the screen and if there is an update file in the USB it will update before turning on any further. Hopefully this is the case with your make of TV. With other TVs the TV has to be fully operational and you have to navigate through the menus to “find” the USB so that you can update the software If you cannot update for whatever reason then it may be a board problem. You would have to check the voltages from the power board and if they are OK then perhaps it is a mainboard problem as this is where the software is stored.
