Chosen Solution
I have a JVC vcr/dvd player that shuts itself off after a few seconds. I have repeatedly followed the instructs to no avail. I am hoping to find a solution here.
Try a different outlet and without the use of a power strip. The power supply could be failing. Also when it comes on, try to insert a disk. It may have an auto power off feature if no media is present.
