Hi! I just swapped the SSD on my Macbook Pro retina early 2015, following your guide: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 SSD Replacement Now, looking at the step 4, I had a problem with that plastic cover/adhesive, because it was loose, it feels like it was coming off. I fear it could fall, causing damages to other components. Can I remove it permanently?

Use some Kapton tape to hold it in place: Polyimide Tape

Im not sure if there are any components that may ground out to the MacBook’s bottom when it’s screwed back on, so I’d just use some double sided adhesive to stick it back down or a quicker way may be to use thin strips of electric tape on either side just to hold it down.
