Hi I just replaced my battery on my MacBook, with a new one, kit from IFIXIT Battery works fine, lovely kit to do the replacement. But now it says that the battery manufacture date is 2012-10-24……. Thats even older than my original! I just replaced. Can this date be changed? Regards Henrik
Hi Henrik, If you purchased this battery, then the manufacture date is likely correct and cannot be changed. These are OEM batteries, made by Apple, around 2012-2013.
