Hi I just recently bought a Instax Mini 8 and after following the directions it still won’t turn on. It can’t be the batteries cause I’m using the ones the company put with the camera. I also thought I didn’t put them in right, and flipped the batteries and still nothing. Maybe I just got a bad camera, i don’t know.
@spaceperv agree with Simeon on this. Replace the battery for sure. Just because they cam with the camera does not mean they are not discharged. If new batteries do not fix this, you should still have warranty on the camera. Use it to replace the camera. If you are already having trouble with it now, it will not get better.
