I just had the chance to install the screen last night and it looks beautiful! Unfortunately, there’s some lag/delay in getting my touch events. It’s especially painful when typing b/c it will just skip characters randomly. Did I forget to do something? Please help, thanks!
Start by re-checking your work by following this guide. Insure the connectors are properly seated, the flexes aren’t kinked or torn, even the slightest amount and look for anything amiss such as dislodged components. If that looks good, then you need to suspect the replacement screen. It’s not uncommon for replacement parts to be bad. If you still have the original screen and it still nominally works, then put that one back in to see if the lag goes away. That would confirm a replacement screen issue.
