I have one of these extension leads. My son caught the cable in the mower. I need to replace the cable, but I can’t see how to remove the end cap with the 4 sockets in it to access the end of the cable. Has anyone discovered how to do this? It has 4 plastic tabs that seem to hold it, but whichever way I push them, it doesn’t want to come undone. Thank you - Rowan
Eventually with more force I eventually got the top of the extension lead off. It seems to have broken off some little plastic tabs, so I’m probably going to have to refix the top with screws, if I can find a sensible pace to put the screws. First I have to remove the old wires and solder on the new cable. Rowan
