So I just got my playstation 5 today and I got the japan model instead of the north american model. Trying to get it sorted but does not look like I am getting a replacement. Since the system is not region locked would it be a problem if I plugged in the japan model into an american outlet? Is there anything I can do to avoid any issues it might cause?
The power requirement should be printed on the label on the console. From what I remember it is dual voltage. Check if it is 100-240V, if so, it is fine.
