Replace iphone 8 logic board everything fine except the home button wont press in so i cant start up the phone any help Thanks Ben
You do know that the home button is unique to the logic board don’t you. You cannot transfer them to another board. If you didn’t receive a home button with your logic board replacement you will need to purchase a universal home button.
Check the connections for the screen. The home button connection is the bottom connection. Make sure it’s not damaged and I would clean it with a qtip and alcohol. You should also check the the cable on the home button and the connection on it. You could also have a defective screen.
