Hi, Sent my Ipad Air2 away to get digitizer only replaced as lcd was fine. Apart from screen ipad was working fine. when it was returned i charged it and it went straight to the DFU screen but itunes will not update or restore and gives error 4013 which i have been told is the nand chip. My question is Is it possible that the repairer caused this when replacing the digitizer? TIA
It’s highly probable. You need to go back to the shop and discuss this with them. Normally they should test your device after the repair. Bad stuff happens occasionally during a repair but the tech should notice it during final test.
