3GS 32 GB New Bootrom itunes error 29 knowing that i changed all kinds of batteries from APN 0431 to 0435 even though tried the board on another newbootrom 3GS chasis BUT NOTHING HELPED ME OUT - I have SHSH for 4.1 & 4.2.1 the phone is with BB 6.15. The phone after the full restore goes either to recovery mode or DFU mode alternatively. The last thing i tried was installing custom 4.2.1, phone reboots to recovery mode, I used GreenPois0n the phone goes fine and boots up like charm, later on upon bootup and lockscreen the signal is always searching and every when and while like about 2 or 3 minutes phone reboots continuously without any clue, rthermore the battery shows a full battery and when the charger gets unplugged the battery still at the sme percentage. I almost visited billions of websites saying error 29 is a battery issue but i gave up really and it is not a battery error but in fact a hardware one,so sirs is there any advice or issue or solution please??. I had this same problem the other day while trying to restore to 4.3.3. I did not receive error 29, but I received a sleuth of other error messages. I too had my SHSH blobs saved. Now, are you running Mac OS? Do you use Tiny Umbrella? I was stuck in an endless recovery loop no matter what I tried, but if you go to the TinyUmbrella Website, you can download a utility called “recoveryfix-osx”. Just complete the restore as you normally would and run that terminal command utility. It worked for me. Good Luck.
