The laptop turns on as normal but the screen is white and I am unable to do anything with it. If you tilt it, you can see that the left half of the screen has very light blue vertical lines, in different shades / sizes and patterns. My dog ‘may’ have stepped on the closed lap tap. Could the pressure from the dog damage the screen???
Hey tinazinger, Yes, It doesn’t take much pressure. They usually crack under the black tape that surrounds the actual LCD. They run around $40-$50 on amazon and pretty easy to change. Get the number off the back of the original LCD before ordering to insure that you get the correct one.
