Custy brought in iPad mini 2. She said she did the repair herself, worked fine for a year and a half. Then after updating the home button stopped working. When I tested it at first, the power button isn’t working, it charges but the display won’t come on, home button still doesn’t work. Decided to put a new glass digitizer on, put it into dfu, works just fine! Except when plugged in, at first it says charging, then after a second or two, says not charging
If you troubleshooted all the rest, power cable, charger, as I believe you did, there isn’t much else left between power and the battery, you have the charging port, the solder joints where the port joins logic board and the Ic(s).
