Hi! I’m really struggling with my Ipad Pro 12.9 1st generation at the moment. It needs to be charged all the time, otherwise it simply turns off. Sometimes it turns off while charging as well. I thought it would be a battery issue, but the apple provider says the battery is fine and there might be an issue with the mainboard. Any ideas what I could check/ replace? Thanks in advance!
The battery is about the only DIY serviceable option on the iPad Pro 12.9”…and barely at that (if you accidentally damage the screen, you are out big bucks). If an authorized Apple service provider confirmed that the battery is good, then you either have a charge port issue or a logic board issue, both of which require micro-soldering.
