Hello, I wanted to clean my iPhone with isopropyl alcohol today but obviously used too much of it. It has gone inside and I think it’s somewhere between the backlight and the LCD. It’s 99,99% alcohol. When the phone is turned on it shows stains as you would see if you put water on two panes of glass and press them together. Also some parts are brighter, some darker. My question is if I need to replace the LCD assembly or if this “damage” will go away if I wait some time. I would be grateful if you could answer my question. Thanks very much!

shagrinar, the isopropyl should evaporate quickly and will not harm your display. Worst case scenario is that you may get stains in there, from impurities that got washed out by the alcohol.
