Solved Is This Ssd Hybrid Drive Really Compatible With This Computer Macbook Pro 13 Retina Display Late 2012

The compatibility list for this Hybrid drive on iFixit lists the late-2012 retina model. Is this listed in error? My understanding is that stock drives will not work with this model, as they use a proprietary SATA connector. 1 TB SSD Hybrid 2.5" Hard Drive

Yup that drive with a full SATA connector is definitely not compatible with any Retina model. Someone should let them know..

I suppose someone was supposed to type in the 2012 Unibody but got confused and ended up entering the Retina instead.
