It has small little scratches on it I was wondering if it is safe to use or not?
As long as they don’t feel that deep, it’s usually not super dangerous - but, you want to make sure they stop at being surface layer. That just looks to be surface layer to me, so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Now on the other hand, say you were doing a major repair I might say replace it but a simple repair? It can be overlooked.
