okay hi so basically my phone won’t turn on and the home button is broken so i cant reset it i found a page on this site that helped me out the first time that told me to go to icloud and erase the phone off your account my only problem now is that you need your phone to be connected to the internet for that to work. so basically; Is there any way I can connect my phone to wifi without actually having access to my phone (preferably via itunes or icloud) also is it a good idea to remove the iphone from the account or will that mess something up?

You could damage the logic board if you try it with the display still connected. Or, you could find a local repair shop, they’d probably do it for $30
If you are planning to sell it, activation lock is already off. It is sever side.
