I used 5S around 5 years. I know that T-mobile does not have great signal. But recently… my 5S loosing signal more than before specially in my new job. I checked with other T-mobile users around me. And someone has similar problem, others not. I already report this on T-mobile website. I guess this is probably difference of 4G and 5G. Or maybe any parts of my 5s is too old. I replaced battery once, screen several times. Is there any replacement parts that helps to increase T-mobile signal?
Depending on where you live you maybe limited to G3 services. You’ll need to review T-Mobile’s frequencies offered your area and what your phone offers. You’ll need to find out which iPhone 5s you have plug in your S/N here EveryMac - Lookup T-Mobile’s G4 frequencies are more likely being blocked by buildings. That is one of the reasons they are looking on merging with Sprint as the Sprint G4 frequencies are better. As far an enhancing your phone there is no direct action to alter your phone. Things you could look at is leveraging WiFi tunneling. Using the newer iOS and access to a WiFi AP you can enable WiFi calling. For reference I use T-Mobile and this is how I I get my calls via WiFi in my thick brick building.
