Hello everybody, I try to repair my old iPhone 4. It only show me the the iTunes logo. When I try to reset it with iTunes, I got error code 4013. I tried 3 PCs (Mac and Windows) all where clean and without antivirus software but always the same error. So I decided to open the phone but all connections looks good. I replaced the battery and the connector port. Is there any chance to check the connectors or cables to find the error?

I’d try all the steps in this list before attempting hardware repair.

Hello, Have you tried with another charging USB cable? Error code 4013 means there’s a hardware problem. When did it start doing this?

Are you using the usb ports at the rear of the computer, as the front ones can have a tendency to not play ball. I’ve had an ipod 4th gen and an iphone 4 not work on the front, but works on the rear. Else, try using google for changing itunes host file, as this has worked once for me too.
