I recently replaced the stand on this machine. After doing so, it won’t hold a forward tilt. It always returns to the uppermost tilt position. I’m just wondering if there’s a way for me to manually adjust this. It seems like the springs need to be loosened somehow. Thanks!
Did you get the 27” hinge or did you get the 21.5” by mistake? iMac 27" Hinge/Clutch Mechanism (11) - Apple P/N 922-9878 iMac 21.5" Hinge/Clutch Mechanism (09/10/11) - Apple P/N 922-9133 They look the same! The spring tensions are very different!
