Hi! I was just wondering if anyone knows a source for bulk quantities of iBook and MacBook screws. I’m not looking for complete sets of screws, or even screws that are “certified Apple”, but simply screws that are identical to what Apple uses in iBooks and MacBooks. Are the screws that Apple uses common screws that are mass-produced and sold outside of Apple products? Actually, I have more than enough of most Apple screws, but the screw in particular I’m always short on is the one used mostly in iBook G4s on the topcase and lower shielding – the “skinny” 6MM phillips. It’s the one I’m always having to dig around for, so if I could find a big bag of those for $10 I think I’d be in heaven. Thanks!

I Think that your best bet would be eBay. I’ll check around for you though.
This guy, http://stores.ebay.com/LaptopAid?_rdc=1, sells a lot of screws but mainly in sets. Some of his prices are good and some not.
