Howdy! I work IT for my public school system, and I’m the ‘iPad” guy because at my other job I am an apple authorized service provider. I have (what I think is) a fantastic idea for a new opening tool for iPads and I have no idea where to submit my idea to ifixit so they could take the idea and run with it and make it as best as it can be. Does anyone know of a way I could do this? I’ve got sketches and can explain the way it works . Its similar to the opening tool we use for iPhones at my second job and it makes it SO SO SO much easier. The iOpener tool is great and suction cups are nice but this tool should eliminate or reduce the need of it and possibly slicing the inside display wires. Any help would be great!!

This is the main ifixit website which the admin responds to on matters that aren’t covered by the ifixit Answers website Perhaps adding some images of your sketches may also help. When asking a question on Meta ifixit, in the toolbar above the question description box there is an add an image icon, click on that and follow the prompts.
