I am trying to modify the Kinect 360 for outdoor use in order to achieve some some short range object detection. To achieve this I need to know a lot more about the emitter in order to understand how a can improve the rest of the system and possibly modify the emitter itself. Thank You
HI Alexander. Based on this image of the two cameras and the IR Emitter, the IR Emitter is labeled as 0G12 0956 D306. Here’s the link to the full Xbox 360 Kinect teardown as well. Hope this helps.
