I recently have had a line of LEDs go out on the bottom screen. I can find the part to replace it, but the only tutorials are for the old 3ds xl, which has a different layout.
Hi bpmurphy18, I did some further research and - indeed - it is difficult to find a repair manual for the lower LCD/digitizer of the latest model. My recommendation would be to use some instructions from the previous model. I am not sure how different the latest model is compared to the previous one. But I would give it a shot. You can always “cross reference” your steps with the teardown of the latest model provided here on ifixit.com. Here is a video how to get to the lower screen of the previous model. Steffen
