Hello! I have an old, mid 2010 iMac with working lcd panel but broken mainboard. I was wondering if there is a controller card available for this panel, to use it as an external screen for an other computer. My web search so far did not come up with any good solution… The panel is a lg lm215wf3 (sd)(b1) display, if that helps. thank you!
Martin, It will be very difficult to purchase an LCD driver ready made. I would contact one of the suppliers that sell the controller kits on ebay. I purchased a few from a seller and they custom made a cable for a couple of odd LCD’s I had. It will be very difficult to purchase an LCD driver ready made.
