Hi, I know the frames are little bit different between i9300 / i9301, but the display should be the same. I have broken i9301l (Galaxy Neo), but I think when I use following display replacement with the old frame , it should be fine. Can you confirm please? Thank you very much
Si se compri un lcd con screen senza il frame non avrai problemi. Non ho mai provato effettivamente ma per esperienza ti dico che per la parte lcd e frame secondo me sono uguali .
Hi, yes, I can confirm its the same. I already bought LCD for S3 without frame and its fitting well on S3 Neo - connector is the same. The only think I was missing was a sticker between the frame and LCD (the old one was damaged and I didn’t wont to use only slim tape for whole area), so I order one from Ali.
Guys, I tried installing a lcd+case from a neo to a regular s3. It boots something and it shows “galaxy s3” regularly (maybe with a slight flikering). Then once it showed cyanogen mod opening for a second, and then it’s all black. The mobile seems working but with no screen functionality. I’m trying and reinstall my recovery from the beginning, my os and then maybe a driver for the new screen? Does it sounds sensible to me, but is it? Please anybody have any suggestion?
Hi Giulio, if you said that in the recovery, display is working well, then it should be a problem with your ROM, not with the display.
